Not all that long ago Renee had the idea of starting a flag and rifle team in The Villages as she couldn’t find anything like it in the clubs directory. Not knowing each other at the time, Kim was searching for the same thing. Renee posted to facebook and Kim replied. Not but a week later, there they were, outside of the Saluki recreation center spinning equipment that they hadn’t used since high school! Renee still has her original rifles she spun back in the day.

We continued to post on social media and others came to join us. Some walked up during our outdoor practices and said “Oh wow…I did this in high school, can I join?”

At the time of this writing we’re quickly approaching twenty members in just a matter of a couple short months and we’re growing fast! The first portion of our performance show is being created and we should be ready for our first public performance in the new year.
